"You gotta eat, you gotta sleep and you gotta be creative!" Pamela Underwood
No art background is necessary. Artist's Way Groups are about gaining tools to live a full and resilient life! Pamela Underwood's Artist's Way Group is a process that provides participants with a safe container to explore, take risks and experience freedom of expression. This hands-on, experiential 12 week course involves professional guidance in painting, Intuitive Collage™, drumming, poetry, clay, drawing and movement. This design gently stretches boundaries and gives a sense of new possibilities while utilizing the strength and structure of Julia Cameron's original book, The Artist's Way.
Pamela Underwood has been leading Artist's Way Groups in the San Diego County area since 1994. Underwood holds a BFA degree in Visual Art and MA degree in Expressive Arts Therapy. She founded "Bodywriting® Retreats for Women" in 1994 with writer Judy Reeves, and is the creator of the 10 week course, "Image Quest; Discovering Your Authentic Visual Vocabulary™."
In 1994, Pamela Underwood started leading "Artist's Way Groups" based on Julia Cameron's book, THE ARTIST'S WAY. Over the years she has developed a style of her own. It is known that Pamela's workshops -- and honesty in leading groups -- empowers others to engage creativity as a tool to foster growth and change in their lives. Scientists, facilitators, former Olympic athletes, authors, teachers, artists, welders, and coaches are among some whom have benefited from Pamela Underwood's offerings. |
