I first saw it with my husband when we went to Liberty Staiton for this month’s ‘First Friday’ (all studios are open on this evening once a month).
The artist Lauren Carrera has taken the inside of a whole building and created it into a delicious, giant installation complete with life size dioramas, artistic/whimsical specimen collections, beautifully curious paintings and an explanation of the the expedition as you journey through. We will have our regular group there in the gallery expedition building!
Also, don’t miss the great show, Bright Wings exhibit by artist Warner Varno at the Expressive Arts Institute of San Diego at Liberty Station.
