“Daily journal tending -randomly layering color, words, texture and images from my ancestors, childhood and the present- changed my future.
I watched as my journal began to self organize, bringing forth clarity and new appreciation of my mother. There was gratitude and awe, there was compassion and forgiveness.
I felt a cellular shift, gifting me with a different way to be in relationship with my mother ongoing. We were in a state of grace, and then suddenly she passed away…”
