Pamela ~
Megan had taken her painting off of the wall and laid it on the studio floor.  She was having a hard time knowing what to do next.

Slow, low movment

To avoid frustration with her painting process, Megan began to respond to her painting with Expressive Arts movement. She began with slow, low, contracted movement followed by quick, upward, open movement, joining her breath and body with the feelings that came as she interacted with the painting.

Megan~
“I feel more fearless to be in the process fully, and to let myself express what I need to express. My art making is forever changed for the better by Bodywriting!”

Responding in this way activated Megan’s sensing body, allowing her to “find a new way in” and a new direction.

 Megan~
“I feel so much more connected to my own sense of creativity. And, I feel detached from needing to see/ feel my own “artistic” ability, because I trust whatever comes out of me.”
